(WABI) - This week, Personal finance website WalletHub ranked the best state capitals in the county to live in. Augusta, Maine did not fair well. WalletHub ranked Augusta 50 out of 50 with an overall score of 39.32.

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin, Texas has again been crowned the best state capital to live in by WalletHub. Personal finance company WalletHub has released their 2025 list of the best state capitals to live in. Austin has won the top spot consistently since at least 2019.

Most Texans know everything is bigger and better in the Lone Star State, and Austin is living it up as the best state capital to live in for 2025 in America. Austin has held on to its No. 1 title in WalletHub's just-released rankings of the "Best State Capitals to Live In.
