The Associated Press is in the crosshairs of the Trump administration after refusing the change the name of the body of water in its journalism after 400 years.

Associated Press journalists have been blocked from places like the Oval Office and Air Force One because the organization has declined to use the term ‘Gulf of America.’

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said President Trump’s decree is restricted to the “continental shelf of the United States” because Mexico still controls much of the Gulf.
