Lake effect snow showers will continue through much of the day across the snowbelt on Friday. Snowfall rates within the heaviest bands could still top 1 inch per hour.

Snowfall totals through tonight will range from a coating to up to 3″. Some places in the primary snowbelt could see a little more, due to lake effect snow Sunday evening into Sunday night.
