Rantanen gets tiebreaking goal in 3rd period as Stars rally from two goals down, beat Predators 3-2
Mikko Rantanen scored the tiebreaking goal midway through the third period, and the Dallas Stars rallied to beat the Nashville Predators 3-2.
Rantanen gave the Stars a 3-2 lead at 10:44 of the third period with a wrist shot on the power play thanks to a cross-ice pass from Mavrik Bourque. It is the first power-play goal the Predators have allowed on home ice this season.
Stars GM Jim Nill made an appearance on The K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 The Fan on Friday where he offered an update on Benn’s status, saying that the 36-year-old has made his return to the ice and is in the process of healing.
