它是中国政府实施的一种产品合格评定制度，涉及产品包括中国境内销售的电器、电缆、汽车、信息技术产品等 20大类数百种产品 。 随后， 中国质量认证中心 的审核员实地检查，评估其产品质量管理体系是否满足国际通行的ISO9001-2000管理标准。

而 3C 标准在充电宝上强制认证更是 2024 年 8 月之后的事情。也就是说，在此之前，市面上售卖的许多充电宝是没有 3C 认证标识的，这部分没有 3C 认证的充电宝现在统统不能上飞机。
