TEAMtalk on MSNLiverpool plan ‘move’ for £100m ‘frightening’ winger and fulfil ‘dream’ as Luis Diaz stance emergesLiverpool are planning to make a late move for Newcastle United and England international winger Anthony Gordon, as Bayern Munich come for Luis Diaz.
Liverpool are in the market for sales with forwards Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott being allowed to seek moves this summer. Liverpool are understood to want at least £50million for Diaz, which is above the budget Bayern and Barcelona have available.
During Barcelona ’s pursuit of Díaz, Liverpool were said to be demanding a fee of €80 million (£68.6 million, $94.1 million) to sell the 28-year-old—a significant sum but one which is feasible for Bayern, who made no secret of their desire to exceed that fee and sign Wirtz earlier this summer.
