据美国公民及移民服务局的数据显示，去年有超过 80万人获得美国公民身份 。至于新考试形式会影响多少人，移民局并未给出预估。对许多人来说，公民知识测试是整个漫长入籍流程中最后、也是最令人紧张的关卡。
