AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Congressman Greg Casar and several other Democratic lawmakers have sent letters to U.S. leaders in the aftermath of deadly Central Texas floods, demanding answers about the federal response.
Between May and June, the Dallas Police Department Fugitive Unit and U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force have taken 197 fugitives into custody. The fugitives have combined criminal histories totaling more than 1,300 arrests.
