It is a beautiful lake with several parks available to access and enjoy the lake. You can pull your boat up to the Minnow restaurant and enjoy some food and music, go fishing, sailing or tubing or just sit by the lake and watch the seabirds. Travel to the east side of the lake and you will feel far away from the City. It is like another world.

Lake Waco has ten public boat ramps. Most ramps charge a $4 launch fee. A $30 annual day use/boat ramp permit is available. Lakeside parks contain many excellent campsites with water and electric, and some with sewage hookups. Dump stations are available in all campgrounds. Lake Waco Marinas and Boat Rentals - There are two marinas at Lake Waco, Lake Waco Cove Marina and Campground and Lake Waco Marina and RV Park with tent camping and RV sites. Lake Waco Cove Marina and Campground has the only restaurant on Lake Waco, The Minnow. Both marinas offer great views and hospitality.
