2020年10月23日 · Before reading this thread , my Verizon 12 Pro came this evening from apple. I transferred all the data from my 8+ and I popped the SIM card from my 8+ into the new phone and it worked fine. I then realized the 12 pro SIM said 5G on it, so I switched them back and tried to activate from Verizon's site and had no luck. My old phone still works fine.

2020年11月10日 · I preordered 3 12 Pros for my family, and they all came with a 5G SIM card already kitted. All I did was power on the device, select "setup new iPhone using old iPhone" and left it alone for a few hours. Everything started working on its own, no SIM swap required. The device activated on its own, calling, SMS, data, etc. all worked.

Picked up the iPhone at the Apple Store yesterday and this morning when I try to activate the phone, after the screen that shows the new number, which I verified on my Apple Store receipt, it asks for my Verizon pin.

I ordered a SIM card last week and can’t get my new phone activated so I called Straight Talk and they said I needed a SIM card for a 5g phone. I went to a chat line and they directed me to a BYOP SIM card but it says 4g. Has anyone been able to activate an iPhone 12 Pro with straight talk?

2009年4月6日 · We got five iPhone 14 or 14 Pros, and every one has required Tier 2 technical support from Verizon to get them activated. We also tried porting a 14 Pro Max from AT&T to Verizon, and after 3 hours on the phone with technical support, they said to go into a store, where they of course said we need to call tech support.

2020年10月23日 · Both the manual process and the process where you use your current iPhone to activate lead to the same issue. Lol Apple or AT&T is botching this roll out. I'm in a thread on Twitter with multiple people saying the same thing. And yes, I've rebooted the new iPhone 12 Pro probably 20-30 times.

2020年10月23日 · I got a new iPhone 12 Pro today directly from AT&T. I transfered all the information from the iPhone Xr into the new iPhone but got no celular connection. Had to swap sim cards between the 2 phones in order to activate the new one. Is that normal? I thought it would activate automatically.
