Darren David Millar (born 1976) is a Welsh politician who has served as the leader of the Welsh Conservatives since December 2024, [2] and Member of the Senedd (MS) for Clwyd West since 2007. [3] Millar was born and grew up in Towyn. [4][5] Millar joined Clwyd North Conservative Association at age 15, and shortly after became chairman. [6]

Having been brought up in Towyn, Darren now lives in Kinmel Bay with his wife Rebekah and their two children, Mary and Toby. Darren is a committed Christian, avid reader and amateur astronomer.
