On Saturday, February 1st, the PCSO partnered with St. Petersburg College Tarpon Springs Campus to conduct an active assailant mass casualty exercise. The annual exercise was in collaboration with the Tarpon Springs Police Department, Clearwater Police Department, and St. Petersburg Police Department. The purpose of the exercise was to test and evaluate law enforcement's response to an active shooter, and test the procedures put in place to see what works and, more importantly, what doesn’t. It
