Bull elk often gather on high, windswept ridges in late winter to graze on the grass that remains exposed due to minimal snow. Here, they frequently shed their antlers. Year after year, the bulls return to these same spots, resulting in generations of antlers scattered across the landscape, creating a surreal and beautiful sight.
