Morning Folks! Last night someone tried to hand us a fake £20 Bank of England note. It was caught straight away with our note detector. The customer was extremely embarrassed as she had just received it as cash back from another shop and was totally unaware. The note felt very thin and the little silver square at the top corner was slightly peeling and underneath it said ‘prop money’ 🫣 So just a heads up incase there’s a few doing the rounds. #CheckYourNotes | Macs Chippy Larne
