A few little snippets of a recent Chocolate Labrador painting I completed a few weeks ago =). I used many glazes throughout the layers to adjust colours. There are many stages shown here where the fur colour isn't correct but my main focus during these layers was values. I am building up the contrast through subtle layers and not having to worry about mixing the exact colour at each stage. Using glazes in this way has always been one of my favourite things about working in acrylics. - - - 20cm r
