A RAVEN'S DIET: This is Hello, our Common Raven, enjoying some of his diet. As part of his daily husbandry, volunteers or staff will take him out to our Nature Cove to hop around and explore. Hello has a wing impairment so he is unable to fly, but he likes to explore along the ground and sit in the sun. Ravens are omnivorous, meaning they eat both meat and vegetation. In the wild they have been observed eating a wide variety of foods from carrion to insects — and even catching pigeons in the sky
