TidbiT logger is a common sensor that records ground temperature for #permafrost research. Data collected through TidbiT loggers will help determine the mean annual ground surface temperature, and help scientists distinguish between permafrost and non-permafrost areas. During our early September fieldwork, we deployed 10 GST sensors (TidbiT) loggers at selected sites in Limi Valley, Humla district. We were able to retrieve data from the 5 TidbiT sensors deployed in September 2021. #CryosphereWed
