Astronauts Joseph Allen and Dale Gardner used Extravehicular Mobility Units (EMU) to fly away from Shuttle Discovery to physically grab the two satellites and bring them to the cargo bay. The satellites, Palapa B2 and Westar 6, had both experienced malfunctions in their kick motors. The satellites were returned to Earth. #space #earth #explore #worldspaceweek"
