Contrary to what many believe, there is no minimum conductor bending radius 'requirement' in the NEC or wire manufacturer instructions. For NM and AC cables, the radius of the curve of the inner edge of any bend shall not be less than five times the diameter of the cable [320.24 and 334.24]. For MC cable, the radius cannot be less than 10, 12, or 15 times the diameter of MC cable (dependent on cable diameter), see 330.24. #mikeholt #electricaltraining #electrician #electricaleducation #electrica
