Fosamax = Alendronate it is used to treat or prevent osteoporosis, especially in postmenopausal women. It helps strengthen bones and lower the risk of fractures. Side effects? Stomach pain, heartburn, and irritation in the esophagus if not taken right. Important tip: Take it first thing in the morning with a full glass of water & don’t eat, drink, or lie down for at least 30 minutes after! And don’t mix it with: Calcium, antacids, or iron supplements right away, they mess with absorption. #Pharm
