Cutting down our own Christmas tree in Arizona was not as quick or as easy as we expected — and that ended up being part of the experience! Our family headed to the Payson area, near Christopher Creek off Control Road, with a plan to find a tree and be on our way. Instead, we spent close to four hours driving, wandering, and scouting different spots before we finally found one that felt right. It wasn’t easy, it wasn’t fast, and there were moments when we wondered if we should have just gone to
